The Mitchell lab at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology has a postdoc position available. Our lab uses developing Xenopus embryos to address mechanistic cell biological questions concerning the formation and maintenance of complex epithelia. This position will provide great tools and resources and a large degree of intellection freedom to pursue questions surrounding tissue integrity. Creativity and a passion for curiosity driven science are a must. The lab is housed in a growing Department with a vibrant and collaborative community of cell and developmental biologists.
