Description	Generation of xlTRPN1 Antiserum. A synthetic peptide (CIPVNVKGKFST) corresponding to the C terminus of xlTRPN1 was coupled by its cysteine to keyhole limpet hemocyanin and used to raise a polyclonal antiserum in rabbits (Charles River Laboratories). Interestingly, the C-terminal sequence was not present in bullfrog TRPN1 (J.-B.S. and P.G.G., unpublished data). The antiserum was purified by affinity chromatography with the synthetic peptide.
