Description:	Coding region of mre11 was amplified by primers 5'-CAGCCGGCACATATGAGTTCTTC and 5' TAAAACGGATCCTATTTATCTACGGCC. This product was cloned in a vector to produce an N-terminal His-tagged fusion protein. The vector was transformed into bacteria, then isolated on an SDS-Page gel. The His-MRE11 band was isolated, purified, and injected into rabbits.
