| Description: | Created by Cuykendall et al. The trim36 CDS was cloned into the pDEST17 vector (invitrogen) by Gateway recomb to generate a fusion protein N-terminally tagged with 6-His. Recombinant protein was produced in bacteria, and refolded from inclusion bodies as described (Houston and King, 2000a). The 6-His-tagged Trim36 protein was then purified over a nickel column (His GraviTrap, GE Healthcare), eluted with 300mM imidazole and dialyzed against PBS. |
